Join us for a comprehensive review of the evaluation and treatment for most common types of acute and chronic low back pain. You’ll learn key questions to ask when taking a client’s history, and how to perform tests that differentiate muscle strains from degeneration and disc herniation. You’ll discover some simple assessment processes to help determine whether pain, numbing and tingling is somatic referred pain or nerve root pain. Lastly you’ll learn a treatment protocol for acute and chronic low back pain, which includes joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, and a unique form of soft tissue mobilization.
