Description

Gain a unique historical perspective of the massage industry with some of the earliest pioneers, including Thomas Myers, Erik Dalton, Leon Chaitow, Judith Aston, and Deane Juhan. Although massage has been around since the beginning of time, the industry as we know it today in North America really only started to blossom in the 1970s. This presentation will provide you with a deeper appreciation of the rapid evolution of the industry since that time as we talk with influential practitioners involved in the renaissance. They’ll share their personal perspectives, stories and experiences of working with icons like Ida Rolf, Milton Trager, and Moshe Feldenkrais.
