Description

Science teachers in massage and bodywork schools often find that their task is especially daunting: how can we engage and excite students whose primary interests are most likely not to be in the direction we must lead them? In this presentation, we identify and analyze obstacles, and discuss strategies to overcome them. We will list some appropriate goals and standards for a pathology curriculum; we will identify obstacles to making science classes work well for massage therapy students; and we will identify strategies to improve effectiveness.
