Yes! All of the courses are approved under ABMP’s NCBTMB Approved Provider account (451086-09).
Are the courses approved for use toward my state license renewal?
CE rules and requirements vary from state to state. Contact your state board for more information about your state-specific rules regarding subject matter, course format (online versus in-person), etc.
Most states accept courses that are NCBTMB-approved and all of the courses in the ABMP Education Center are approved.
If you have state licenses on your ABMP membership file for states with restrictions regarding subject matter, course format (online versus in-person), etc., we do our best to give you a helpful warning if we believe a course will not be accepted toward your state license renewal. Those messages will appear in red on each course page after you have logged into the ABMP Education Center.
You may also filter the course list by checking the “Only show courses approved in my states” box in the Advanced Filters drop-down menu. You will only see this option if you have licenses on file in states with subject matter and course format restrictions.
Will ABMP report my CE earned to my state?
Most states require individual practitioners to report their own CE earned at the time of renewal.
ABMP reports CE earned to the following states: Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Closed Captioning
Courses with closed captioning will have the "cc" symbol on the video player toolbar. Use the search and filter bar on the course list page to search the term "closed captioning" (without the quotes) to filter courses with this feature.
