Description

This presentation expands on the Part 1 presentation by Dr. John Saratsiotis, who discussed the scientific basis behind the creation of this new system of soft-tissue treatment. This course introduces you to the Functional Range Release, a soft-tissue treatment and rehabilitation management system. Utilizing the trademarked Tissue Tension Technique and "P.A.I.L's" (Progressive Angular Isometric Loading), Functional Range Release soft-tissue management expands on the basic tenets of myofascial-release treatments by simultaneously assessing, expanding, and strengthening the patient’s functional range of motion. An introduction to the system is offered demonstrating the applications of the technique to various soft-tissue structures, as well as the application of P.A.I.L’s, which forms an integral part of the treatment system. The introduction of the technique is followed by a series of case presentations taking you through the assessment technique, treatment application, and rehabilitation process involved in Functional Range Release. This course is the second in a series of two courses.
