Description
Shoulder pain affects up to 60 percent of the population at one time in their life, and its incidence increases with age. Touch therapists encounter shoulder problems every day, and there is often a great deal of fear and confusion around the best approach. In this presentation, you'll learn the three most common shoulder problems (sub-acromial pain syndrome, rotator cuff tendinopathy, and frozen shoulder syndrome), explore concepts from the latest research into shoulder pathologies, and learn a novel osteopathic trigger-point-based technique to address theses issues. The approach is evidence-based and clinically proven to reduce pain and increase range of motion over and above traditional physical therapy and placebo.
